| ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Engineering IT Management: Maintain technology roadmap for engineering infrastructures; maintain awareness for tool consolidation; co-manage technology based capability and process improvements with relevant staff. Engineering system support and obsolescence: Define, coordinate and execute business system acceptance protocols; coordinate with IT to manage and resolve day-to-day engineering computing assets issues; assist in phasing out obsolete redundant or out-moded engineering infrastructure. Business process improvement via technology: Identify and eliminate non-value added manual and paper-based work process; develop electronic workflows to business and engineering case; assure process definition within a defined technology framework; update Enterprise work instructions and training packages. Enterprise Data Schema development: Locate, define and weigh disposition paper and electronic Enterprise data; decompose key reports and process metrics to source systems; develop Enterprise Data Schema package. Business application solutions integration: Co-join engineering data repositories within a homogenized web; apply Key Process Indicators (KPIs) to business and engineering systems; apply content and knowledge management principles to CDA data repositories. | ||||||

| EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: BS in computer related studies with 8 or more years experience in IT and Configuration/Quality systems management roles. 5 years work experience relevant to job duties. Expert QA/CM domain expertise. Expert SDLC knowledge. Excellent knowledge of SW, Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing process. Excellent knowledge of formal process and business maturity models (ISO, CMMI). Good knowledge of CIS, specifically web services, open database architectures, scripting; business automation technique; package commercial/industry solutions. Good statistical modeling and reporting documentation. Proficient in formal trade study process. Proficient using web browsers and search engines. Proficient using Windows-based productivity tools. | ||||||
