| ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Detailed design of rugged, remote, VHF to Ku band 2 to 100 Watts, antenna systems for manworn, ground, shipboard, vehicle and aircraft applications. Preparation of vendor specifications for outsourced subassemblies. Perform trade studies on different antenna concepts. Antenna performance modeling and analysis (using Ansoft HFSS or equivalent) Design of the antenna feeds, reflecting dish assembly, rotary joint/waveguide switch assembles. Pedestal research and vendor specification generation. Attend and present at internal and customer design reviews. Supplier interface. System integration and production support. Test procedure generation and test support. RF circuit design. HF to Ku band. Receivers, transmitters, MODEMs, power amplifiers, etc. Modeling/simulation using Agilent ADS and PSPICE. | ||||||

| EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: BSEE and eight years of experience to include experience in antenna design and HF to Ku band radio circuitry design. Familiarity with the environmental requirements of MIL-E-5400 and the EMI requirements of MIL-STD-461. Design and production support experience of VHF/UHF manworn, vehicle and airborne antennas. Design and production support experience of Ku band, omni directional ground and airborne antennas. US Citizenship Required. | ||||||
