| -Deliver Advanced Individual Training (AIT) to Soldiers attending the US Army Ordnance Munitions & Electronics Maintenance School in accordance with the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Program of Instruction (POI) for Phase I of the 89D Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) -Conduct classroom/laboratory conference, discussion, demonstration, and practical exercises (includes course introduction, technical information delivery, hardware practical exercises and various forms of computer-assisted instruction); Administer and grade written and hands-on performance tests; conduct student critiques, academic counseling and evaluation of students; and perform supervisory support for each student. -Prepare classroom or training area, including reviewing lesson plans, subject matter material, inserting and removing faults impairments and problems, and manage training aids and devices -Travel as required to support mobile training team efforts | ||||||

| -Professional written and oral communication skills required -Be physically fit and able to perform duties requiring moderate lifting, long periods of standing, sitting or walking, and inclement weather conditions on occasion -Be able to provide additional instructional support which may be required including mid-shift and night shift work Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information | ||||||
| .:: Education/Experience Requirements: | ||||||
| -5 years experience locating, identifying, rendering safe, and disposing of foreign and domestic conventional, chemical, or nuclear ordnance and improved explosive devices (IED). Experience includes: researching and identifying ordnance using EOD technical publications; detecting the presence of and identifying chemical agents; preparing and maintaining EOD tools, equipment, and vehicles; assisting in operating an Emergency Contamination Control Station (ECCS) and Emergency Personnel Decontamination Station (EPDS); assisting in locating and gaining access to buried ordnance. -BNCOC required; ANCOC preferred; qualified in the Army Instructor Training Course, Systems Approach to Training, or equivalent is desired | ||||||
