| .:: Essential Job Duties: | ||||||
| -Deliver Advanced Individual Training (AIT) to Soldiers attending the US Army Ordnance Mechanical Maintenance School in accordance with the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Program of Instruction (POI) for the 44B (91W) and 44E (91E) Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) -Conduct classroom/laboratory conference, discussion, demonstration, and practical exercises (includes course introduction, technical information delivery, hardware practical exercises and various forms of computer-assisted instruction); Administer and grade written and hands-on performance tests; conduct student critiques; conduct academic counseling of students and complete counseling record; evaluates student performance and prepare student documentation; and perform supervisory support for each student; Provide remedial training for students requiring additional instruction in order to perform student objectives to standard -Prepare classroom or training area, including reviewing lesson plans, subject matter material, inserting and removing faults impairments and problems, and manage training aids and devices -Follow all regulatory guidance pertaining to conduct while in contact with soldiers -Provide instructor notes and update lesson plans, and review and/or revise existing training materials -Travel as required to support mobile training team efforts | ||||||

| -Professional written and oral communication skills required -Be physically fit and able to perform duties requiring moderate lifting, long periods of standing, sitting or walking, and inclement weather conditions on occasion -Be able to provide additional instructional support which may be required including mid-shift and night shift | ||||||
| .:: Education/Experience Requirements: | ||||||
| -5 years experience supervising and performing welding ferrous and nonferrous metals using oxyacetylene, electric arc, and inert gas welding equipment and repairing, repainting, and installing metal body components, radiators, and fuel tanks; or fabricating, repairing, and modifying metallic and nonmetallic parts, utilizing such machines as engine lathes, utility grinders, power cutoff saws, armature under cutters, arbor and hydraulic presses, drill presses, and their associated attachments, accessories, and tools -BNCOC required; ANCOC preferred; -Qualified in the Army Instructor Training Course, Systems Approach to Training, or equivalent is desired | ||||||
