  .:: Essential Job Duties:
  -Deliver Advanced Individual Training (AIT) to Soldiers attending the US Army Ordnance Mechanical Maintenance School in accordance with the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Program of Instruction (POI) for the 45B (91F), 45D, 45G (91G), 45K (91K) Military Occupational Specialties (MOS)
-Conduct classroom/laboratory conference, discussion, demonstration, and practical exercises (includes course introduction, technical information delivery, hardware practical exercises and various forms of computer-assisted instruction); Administer and grade written and hands-on performance tests; conduct student critiques; conduct academic counseling of students and complete counseling record; evaluates student performance and prepare student documentation; and perform supervisory support for each student; Provide remedial training for students requiring additional instruction in order to perform student objectives to standard
-Prepare classroom or training area, including reviewing lesson plans, subject matter material, inserting and removing faults impairments and problems, and manage training aids and devices
-Provide instructor notes and update lesson plans, and review and/or revise existing training materials
-Travel as required to support mobile training team efforts
     
  .:: Mental/Physical Requirements:
  -Be able to provide instructional support, including professional written and oral communication
-Be physically fit and able to perform duties requiring moderate lifting, long periods of standing, sitting or walking, and inclement weather conditions on occasion; must work extended hours and weekends as required
     
  .:: Education/Experience Requirements:
  -5 years experience maintaining (inspecting, repairing, testing, and adjusting) MOS specific equipment including; small arms and other infantry weapons, and towed artillery; laser range finders, ballistic computers, laser observation devices, laser designators, thermal imaging systems, periscopes, telescopes, commander's weapon station/auxiliary sights, aiming circles, image transfer assemblies, quadrants, mount assemblies., fire control support equipment, and test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE); mechanisms/systems of tank turrets, armament weapons, and cupolas; or carriage-mounted armament, associated fire control, and related systems and components on all self-propelled field artillery weapon systems.
-BNCOC required; ANCOC preferred;
-Qualified in the Army Instructor Training Course, Systems Approach to Training, or equivalent is desired
