| ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Embedded Software Engineering support is needed to perform object-oriented design for embedded ground and airborne systems. Ability to transfer software requirements and apply them into software design, specifically creating: use cases, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, class diagrams. Ability to interface with Green Hills development products. Capable of creation, modification, and production of software documentation utilizing Cubic Defense Applications procedures and Government Standards. Other duties and responsibilities to include: Perform complex software engineering duties including: requirements generation, problem analysis, solution determination, code design and development and documentation. Plan and participate in software systems development from inception. Assist in the preparation of design specifications. Create logic flowcharts and block diagrams. Assist with development of circuit, component, subsystem and equipment interfaces and specifications. Conduct and participate in in-house design reviews and technical meetings. Show commitment to Company values, ethics, safety, security, labor charging, and quality. Ability to travel required. | ||||||

| EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Four-year college degree or equivalent in computer engineering, computer science or other related technical discipline plus eight or more years of experience; or a Master of Science degree with at least three years of experience. Experience to include specification, design and development of embedded software systems. Proficiency with Green Hills development applications a plus. Proficiency with Object-Oriented Design and programming languages such as Java, 'C/C++', C# and other development software a plus. Effective written and oral communication skills to include the use of typical office automation products such as word processors and spread sheets. Knowledge of customer needs and competing products. Experience with military data links, network communications, and real-time integrated air and ground tactical systems a plus. A SECRET level security clearance is also required.
