| ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Experience in material selection, including: adhesives, composites, plastics and metals. Familiar with fabrication and assembly practices. Ability to do analytical trade studies and make recommendations of materials for specific applications, as well as; work on-going production producibility initiatives at the Cubic de Mexico. Ability to work in SolidWorks is required. Experience in a product development environment is required. Experience with design for manufacturing on defense related products highly desirable. Ability to solve a variety of mechanical engineering problems outside the immediate expertise in materials, such as, stress and thermal analysis, design using SolidWorks and experience with opto-mechanical systems will be a discriminator. Must be capable of working effectively in a team, product development environment and meeting challenging development requirements and schedules. | ||||||
