  .:: Essential Job Duties:
  Under general direction of the VP/GM and Deputy GM, responsible for managing government programs which are of medium risk and complexity. Ensues that all required resources such as manpower, engineering, and logistics are available for the programs. Participates in the development and production of technical and cost proposals in pursuit of new business. Plans, directs and monitors programs budgets and serves as primary contact for the customers.
' Acts as manager for assigned program(s).
' Serves as primary contact with the customer.
' Leads program execution within cost, schedule and technical constraints. Manages, oversees, monitors and approves all elements of assigned program activities from inception to completion including capture plan, proposal development, subcontracting, delivery, training, and acceptance of services or products delivered.
' Performs program financial management to ensure profits are earned and cash collected.
' Performs risk management; identifies program issues with sufficient lead-time to resolve them; discusses with General Manager, Deputy General Manager, and Management Team.
' Effectively communicate verbally and in writing, make presentations, and conduct negotiations with customers, subcontractors and vendors.
' Develops proposals for new business. Reviews and approves technical approach, feasibility and cost estimates for projects: includes proposal preparation, statements of work and specifications, estimation of product/service costs, negotiation and administration of contracts.
' Participates in the selection and hiring of personnel. Trains and develops staff to improve individual and organizational performance. Evaluates staff performance and provides feedback on a continual basis.
     
  .:: Mental/Physical Requirements:
  Must be able to multi-task in a high-speed, dynamic environment. Must be able to travel frequently. Must understand and foster a "services" philosophy in all work-related efforts. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
     
  .:: Education/Experience Requirements:
  Four-year college degree, or workplace equivalent, in electronics, engineering or related technical discipline. Six to eight years of related technical or engineering experience including four years of project management, program management or other supervisory responsibility. Knowledge of government procurement, contracting standards and specifications required. Experience with manpower estimation and USAF simulator systems desired. Applicant must have excellent writing, speaking and communication skills.
